DataPoint is a software package that designs, distributes and shows Microsoft PowerPoint presentations with dynamic information derived from various data sources. These presentations are filled with the latest data available and is refreshed automatically as soon as new information becomes available. It eliminates the actions necessary to continuously modify and redistribute a presentation.

A DataPoint-enabled presentation can be shown life on a monitor - e.g. production data in a factory - or it can be used to generate new up-to-date presentations - e.g. a product catalog or real estate presentation.

Presentations created with DataPoint Enterprise Edition can be viewed with the free DataPoint Viewer. When a user opens a DataPoint presentation, the Viewer software will automatically refresh all the dynamic linked information so that the user is looking at the latest information only.

This version of DataPoint is the ideal solution for single installations and small companies. It allows you to design dynamic presentations and the presentation mode can be online or offline. Online as a life display monitor in your company and offline as reports or statistics generator.

Online presentations need the DataPoint Standard Edition in order to refresh the data on another computer while offline presentations can be viewed without DataPoint software installed on the viewing machine. Even with offline presentations the free Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer could be used.

This is the flagship version of DataPoint ideal for large companies. On top of the functionality of the Standard Edition, you can create dynamic presentations to be viewed with the DataPoint Viewer and MessagePoint Enterprise Edition.

In addition this version also supports presentations running on a computer with multiple monitors. You can connect for example 8 monitors to one single computer and run 8 different slide shows on it. The added functionality to DataPoint is that it will continuously updated your 8 separate running presentations. It does not include the software to distribute the presentation to each monitor individually.
