The
MessagePoint runtime client installs a new screen saver on
your system. After the installation MessagePoint becomes your
default screen saver.
Specify
which PowerPoint presentation to play
Identify
the presentation that should be shown when your system becomes
idle and your screen saver starts. This presentation can reside
on your local computer or on a company network drive.
Auto-detect
a new presentation
MessagePoint
will examine regularly if the specified presentation is changed.
When this occurs MessagePoint will download that presentation
to your local machine to avoid sharing conflicts with other
users.
Specify
how to stop the screen saver
Typically
a screen saver is ended when the user moves the mouse or hits
any key on the keyboard. With MessagePoint you can decide
how a screen saver will be ended. This gives you the possibility
to embed hyperlinks to internal or external documents or web
sites to act more or less like an intranet solution.
Display
live information from external data sources
MessagePoint
offers you the functionality of DataPoint to link your presentation
to Microsoft Excel worksheets, Microsoft Access or any other
database for real-time content.
