Cranfield University
Cranfield School of Management, located about
75 km north-west of London in the UK, is one of Europe’s leading
university management schools.
| It
is part of Cranfield University, renowned for its high quality
postgraduate teaching and research and its strong links to industry
and business. Management education and development has been
offered at Cranfield University since the late 1940s and the
School of Management was formally set up in 1967. |

We
are using DataPoint software to display
a live news feed. This is embedded into a rolling Powerpoint
presentation showcasing the School’s research output on
a plasma screen. The
system, using DataPoint’s news reader NewsPoint, draws
an RSS feed from the BBC and displays
the three top headlines in news, business and sport in real-time.

are very pleased with the software and look forward to trialling
it in other application environments shortly.
