Iowa State University displays upcoming classes and announcements with DataPoint in the main entrance lobby.

Iowa State University’s Department of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) is a service unit charged with the responsibility of assisting all university units in ensuring environmental stewardship, occupational health and safety of all personnel, students and visitors.


To aid in this endeavor, EH&S offers comprehensive environmental, health and safety programs, incorporating everything from chemical and fire safety to radiation safety. A major part of each program is training. PresentationPoint allows us to use a plasma screen to display upcoming training classes, announcements and other events. We particularly like the software because we are able to display updates immediately, without having to restart the display each time we make a change. Since the information comes from an existing database, there was no learning curve for our staff to be able to add to the display.
